Apēron Apartment Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Apēron Apartment Hotel on Pustervig, you’d honestly never guess from the street that you’re about to step into one of Copenhagen‘s best-kept accommodation secrets. The building blends seamlessly into the historic neighborhood — which is actually part of its charm. I mean, you’re staying in the heart of the old city, not some sterile hotel district. The entrance is understated but welcoming, and the staff immediately made me feel like I was checking into a friend’s well-appointed place rather than a typical three-star hotel.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what really sets this place apart — the location is absolutely unbeatable. You’re literally steps from Strøget, Copenhagen’s main pedestrian shopping street, but tucked away enough that you won’t hear tourist crowds at night. I could walk to Nyhavn in about eight minutes, and the Round Tower was practically around the corner. What I loved most was discovering that couples consistently rate this spot a 9.9 for romantic getaways, and honestly, I get it. There’s something about wandering these cobblestone streets in the evening that just works. The nearby cafés and bars feel authentically local rather than touristy, which you don’t always find this close to the main attractions.
The Apartment Experience
The room — well, it’s really more like a compact apartment — surprised me with how thoughtfully designed it was. You get a proper kitchenette with everything you actually need (not just a mini-fridge and hope), which saved me quite a bit on Copenhagen’s notoriously expensive dining scene. The space feels modern and clean without being cold, and there’s enough storage that I wasn’t living out of my suitcase. The bathroom was spotless, and I appreciated the attention to small details like good lighting and decent water pressure — things that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere, you know?
Daily Life Here
What I found most valuable was how the hotel functions for longer stays. The kitchen setup meant I could grab fresh ingredients from the nearby Torvehallerne food market and actually prepare simple meals. There’s a small grocery store just two blocks away, and the staff gave me great recommendations for where locals actually shop. The building stays quiet — important when you’re trying to recover from all that walking Copenhagen demands. I never felt like I was missing out on hotel amenities because the location gives you access to everything the city offers instead.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, this place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re not getting a fancy lobby or a restaurant, but you’re getting an incredibly well-located base that lets you experience Copenhagen like you actually live there for a few days. The recent guest ratings of 9.8 for location aren’t just numbers — they reflect how rare it is to find somewhere this central that still feels like a neighborhood rather than a tourist zone. For the price point, especially considering Copenhagen’s costs, it delivers exactly what matters most: comfort, cleanliness, and that unbeatable address that puts the entire city at your doorstep.

Reviews of Apēron Apartment Hotel

Very nice stay, perfect location! The only thing to note are the stairs, but the place itself and the location definitely make up for the trouble of climbing two flights of stairs!
Gniadecki from Canada – 14 April 2025 (9/10)
Great location, the room was small but very well designed and equipped.
Oksana from Ukraine – 30 March 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is very clean and beautiful, it was very quiet at night, the location is perfect. The only thing that was not perfect in our room was the bathroom, the planning of this room is not very convenient (shower too close to the sink, so after taking a shower it was difficult to approach the sink because the floor was wet) but it was a very minor thing.

Location was fantastic. Right in the center with easy access to all sights, restaurants, grocery store etc. The biggest bonus was this prime location was exceptionally quiet. Did not hear any street noise or from neighbors (and I have sensitive hearing). Very safe area. Apartment was spacious and very well equipped. The staff were highly responsive to any requests and checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. Very welcoming. There us nothing not to like, but if I was pushed to find something lacking (and there really wasn't) then I would say add some small cereal bowls as the only bowls are large wide dish ones. A little throw/blanket for comfort at the end of a busy day would be a nice cozy touch.
