Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station, but you’re not dealing with all the tourist chaos right outside your door. The Kalvebod Brygge area has this perfect balance where you feel like you’re in the heart of things without being overwhelmed. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it 8.7, which honestly makes sense), and I think it’s because you can easily stroll along the waterfront in the evenings. The nearby Islands Brygge district is where locals actually hang out, so you get that authentic Copenhagen vibe just across the water.

I’ll be straight with you — the beds here are exceptional. Like, genuinely some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve encountered, and apparently other guests agree because the sleep quality ratings are through the roof. Floor-to-ceiling windows are standard in most rooms, and if you can swing a harbor view, absolutely do it. The breakfast setup here is really well done — they offer both continental and buffet options, so whether you want something quick or you’re the type who likes to sample everything, you’re covered. The main restaurant focuses on Nordic cuisine with international influences, and while it’s not cheap, the quality matches what you’d expect from a luxury Marriott property. There’s also a fitness center that’s actually worth using (not just a couple of sad treadmills), and the spa services are solid if you want to treat yourself after walking around the city all day.

  The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre. Our room had a beautiful view as it overlooked the river. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, the hotel is quite suitable for family travel.
  
  What could be improved: The only issue was that whenever we requested something from reception, we had to call at least twice. Additionally, housekeeping often forgets to replenish certain items in the room. While the beds were not very comfortable, they were suitable for sleeping.

  We upgraded our room after 2 nights and got a brilliant room with a beautiful view for 2 nights. The breakfast was the best I have ever had! It only took about 10 minutes to walk to the city center.
