Hotel Nora Copenhagen Overview

Welcome to Hotel Nora Copenhagen, a charming 3-star establishment nestled in the vibrant heart of Denmark’s capital city. Situated at Nørrebrogade 18B in the trendy Nørrebro district, this well-appointed hotel offers visitors an authentic Copenhagen experience with a commendable 8.1 rating from satisfied guests. Hotel Nora strikes the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and Danish hospitality, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in Copenhagen’s unique atmosphere without compromising on quality accommodations.

The hotel’s prime location in Nørrebro places guests in one of Copenhagen’s most dynamic and culturally diverse neighborhoods. Once a working-class district, Nørrebro has transformed into a hip, multicultural area brimming with independent boutiques, cozy cafés, innovative restaurants, and verdant parks. From Hotel Nora, guests can easily explore local attractions such as Assistens Cemetery (the final resting place of Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard), the picturesque Nørrebro Park, and the bustling Jægersborggade street with its artisanal shops and eateries. The famous lakes of Copenhagen are just a short walk away, offering scenic routes for morning jogs or evening strolls. With the hotel’s central address at Nørrebrogade 18B, visitors benefit from excellent transportation connections to other key destinations in Copenhagen, including Tivoli Gardens, the historic Nyhavn waterfront, and the iconic Little Mermaid statue.

Hotel Nora Copenhagen prides itself on delivering a consistently pleasant experience, as evidenced by its solid 8.1 rating. This well-reviewed property combines traditional Danish design elements with modern amenities to create a welcoming atmosphere that resonates with both business and leisure travelers. The hotel’s thoughtful attention to detail reflects the renowned Danish concept of “hygge” (coziness and comfortable conviviality), which permeates throughout the property. Guests particularly appreciate the hotel’s clean and comfortable accommodations, helpful and attentive staff, and the authentic neighborhood experience that differs from the more tourist-heavy central districts. While maintaining the intimate charm expected of a 3-star boutique hotel, Hotel Nora doesn’t compromise on essentials that modern travelers require. Its location in the 2200 postal code area of Copenhagen positions guests perfectly to experience both tourist highlights and local treasures, allowing visitors to craft their own unique Copenhagen story. Whether you’re sampling Nordic cuisine at nearby restaurants, cycling through the neighborhood like a local, or using the hotel as a comfortable base for exploring wider Copenhagen, Hotel Nora provides an authentic Danish hospitality experience that consistently satisfies its guests.

Reviews of Hotel Nora Copenhagen

  • Naomi from United Kingdom – 9 April 2025 (8/10)

We had a very comfortable stay and the the room was much bigger than anticipated. Only downside was 2 men knocking at the door at 9am to clean the windows. I was only just changed after a shower and did feel uncomfortable as my husband had popped out to get a coffee. Would have been good to know this was happening or better still to clean the windows after check out

  • Anthony from United Kingdom – 7 April 2025 (8/10)

Did not have breakfast. Good bus service into city or a pleasant walk.

What could be improved: Had a rearview room so not a good view.

  • Ludek from Czech Republic – 3 March 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: I would prefer more firm mattress.

  • Michał from Poland – 21 February 2025 (9/10)

    – Tasty breakfasts.
    – The room was spacious and clean.

  • Martina from Germany – 22 January 2025 (9/10)

    Nice, clean hotel very central!!

What could be improved: The bathroom was a bit small and shower was a bit weird, but still worked for us!

  • María from Spain – 18 December 2024 (9/10)

It's a simple hotel but it has everything you need. The girls at the reception are very kind, as well as the staff serving the breakfast.. The location is perfect, just a 10 min walk from Norreport Station, which connects directly to the airport. There are several restaurants and cafeterias next to the hotel, and a supermarket.

What could be improved: The breakfast is a bit lacking. You have to fill in a form with the things you want for breakfast and whatever you choose is the same for every day. However the staff serving the breakfast was really nice.

  • Lorraine from United Kingdom – 16 December 2024 (8/10)

Rooms were more spacious than the pictures online and the rooms looked like they had been recently refurbished. The floors were wooden and the ceilings were high, really capturing hygge well. The staff were lovely, so kind and attentive. Even after I'd checked out and needed help to charge my phone and use the bathroom when I went back to pick up my bag before leaving the city, they were really kind and helpful! 10/10 stay!

What could be improved: The toilet leaked water around the base, even though it wasn't blocked. Not nice to wake up and walk into! Other than that, can't complain about anything else.

  • Rafal from United Kingdom – 12 December 2024 (8/10)

    location

  • Johan from France – 4 December 2024 (9/10)

excellent location, good value for money, bit spartan rooms but good enough.

What could be improved: location and price/quality ratio

  • Joanna from United Kingdom – 20 November 2024 (9/10)

Super friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable room, great for a night’s stay.

What could be improved: This is very nit picky because overall things were great but the shower curtain had an old squished mosquito with dried blood in it and one of the bathroom cloths had a bit of something stuck to it so I feel just attention to detail around cleanliness was let down slightly. But I think that might have just been bad luck because overall the cleanliness of the hotel seemed very good.
