The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that Scandinavian design thing down perfectly — clean lines, lots of natural light, and everything you actually need without unnecessary clutter. The windows are generous, so you get proper daylight (which matters more than you’d think during Copenhagen’s shorter winter days). What struck me was how quiet it stays despite being so central. I guess the building’s older construction helps with that, plus Sankt Annae Plads isn’t a major traffic route. Each apartment-style room feels like a private retreat in the heart of the city.

The buffet breakfast setup works really well here. They’ve got the Danish basics covered — proper bread, good coffee, local cheeses — plus enough international options that you won’t feel limited. I actually enjoyed eating breakfast while watching the square come alive in the morning. There’s something nice about starting your day watching Copenhagen wake up from your hotel restaurant.   Very gentle staff, wonderful location in Copenhagen, in front of Nyhavn. Couldn’t be better…

  I did not expect to like the breakfast. I am an acai bowl aficionado and that is not their jam. I decided to step away from my routine and enjoy their breakfast buffet. Just lovely. Delicious and healthy offerings.

  The room was small but very well appointed and clean. It had everything you could need and the bed was comfortable. The staff were responsive and friendly! There is a mini bar, restaurant and bar on site! Also, Nyhavn is 2 blocks away! It is a short distance walk to all major sites! This is an excellent place to stay right across the street from the Swedish embassy!
  
  What could be improved: The room was quite small. It was totally fine for 1 person but I would not want to share it with another person. Also, it could be a bit hot. However, the staff noticed and immediately assisted me in turning it off! I really have no important complaints and would definitely stay here if I am ever in Copenhagen again!

  The rooms were chic and large for the area (albeit I did upgrade to a deluxe). Staff was super helpful and prompt when I had a few requests. The location was perfect for my meetings around the corner, on a quiet street around the corner from many restaurants. I’d go back for sure.
  
  What could be improved: The initial room I’d booked into was right next to the lift and I wouldn’t have been happy staying there, but I was able to move immediately.
