The couples who stay here absolutely get it (they rate the location 9.4, which honestly doesn’t surprise me). There’s something romantic about wandering these cobblestone streets, especially when you stumble upon Freetown Christiana just around the corner. The neighborhood truly captures the essence of what makes Copenhagen so special.

The room I stayed in was spacious by Copenhagen standards — and trust me, that matters here where hotel rooms can feel like elegant closets. The design leans into that Scandinavian aesthetic without being cold about it, with warm woods and textiles that make the space feel inviting. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains (essential during those bright summer nights), and a bathroom that felt genuinely luxurious rather than just trying to look the part. I’ll be honest — hotel breakfasts can be hit or miss, but this one actually delivers. They’ve got the full spread covered: continental classics, plus solid vegetarian and vegan options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The gluten-free selection was surprisingly comprehensive too. It’s buffet-style, which works well because you can take your time and the quality is consistently good. I found myself lingering over coffee longer than usual, watching the morning light hit the canal outside. The breakfast experience alone is worth the stay.

  The location is very convenient! And I should mention the breakfast. It was amazing! Such a big variety and the quality is superb. The service was exceptional.

  The guest relations manager – Ms Pinarchi – was exceptionally helpful when I had an issue with the room initially assigned to me. Professional and thoughtful in the extreme.
  Excellent breakfast. Good location. Comfortable room – very clean and well appointed.
  
  What could be improved: My pre-travel request for a quiet room was not facilitated; I ended up on the only side of the hotel that faced onto a busy street. Moved on request by the front desk but only up a floor and slightly nearer to a quiet part of the hotel.
  Conversations with the duty manager did not resolve this, unfortunately. She did however pass my concerns to the Guest Relations Manager who sorted everything the following morning. The rest of my stay was excellent.

  What could be improved: The guests are given only a litre of complimentary water per day per room. This should be at least a bottle per person. This should not be an issue for a 5 star hotel. I think the dinner menu of the restaurant is not satisfactory.

  We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations — the room was cozy and spotless, the location was perfect (within walking distance to almost all major attractions), and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of options.
  
  What really made our experience exceptional, however, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Ms. Gülcan from Guest Relations — her warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcome and at home.
  
  We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Copenhagen!

  Hotel in all was fantastic & only let down by the catering at breakfast.
  
  What could be improved: Had breakfast on first morning but was massively let down. Hot food (unless you requested it freshly cooked from the chef and waited in a long cue to do so!) was stone cold!! Which was what we thought the really high price would justify!
