Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen, you immediately get that “this is different” feeling — and I mean that in the best way. It’s not your typical hotel setup, honestly. The lobby has this modern, residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re staying in a really well-designed apartment building rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel. The staff actually seems to know what they’re talking about when you ask for local recommendations, which is refreshing.
Location & Neighborhood
The Østerbro location is honestly one of the best-kept secrets in Copenhagen. You’re away from the tourist crowds but still close enough to everything that matters — I walked to Nyhavn in about 20 minutes, which was perfect for morning coffee runs. The neighborhood itself has this authentic Danish feel with local cafes and small shops that you won’t find in guidebooks. There’s something really nice about being able to grab groceries at the nearby Netto and actually live like a local for a few days.
The Room Experience
What sets this four-star place apart is the space — these aren’t cramped hotel rooms but actual apartment-style accommodations. My room had a proper kitchenette with everything I needed to make breakfast (though honestly, their buffet was too good to skip most mornings). The bed was comfortable, and I loved having a separate living area where I could spread out with my laptop. The bathroom was modern and well-designed, though nothing too fancy — just really functional and clean.
Breakfast & Amenities
The breakfast buffet is where this place really shines. It’s not just the usual continental spread — they have proper Danish pastries, fresh fruit, and even some hot options that change daily. I mean, you could easily skip lunch after eating here. The restaurant area has floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light, making morning meals feel less rushed and more civilized. They also have private parking on-site, which is honestly a huge relief if you’re driving in Copenhagen — street parking around here can be a nightmare.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is how it strikes that balance between hotel service and apartment independence. You get daily housekeeping and a front desk that’s actually helpful, but you also have the freedom to do your own thing without feeling like you’re constantly “at a hotel.” The location gets high marks from couples for good reason — Østerbro has this romantic, residential charm that feels more authentic than staying right in the city center. Plus, you’re getting genuine value here; the space and amenities you get for a four-star price point would cost significantly more in other European capitals. This hotel truly delivers on comfort and convenience for discerning travelers.
Apartments in Copenhagen suit digital nomads with modular interiors, balcony herb gardens, and third-wave espresso downstairs.

Excellent option if you tend to do day trips to nearby locations like Roskilde, Helsingdor or Hillerod: hotel is located close to Osterport station where you can catch the train to all these destinations.
Room is really spacious, with a lot of light, very comfy bed, also the sofa. Small kitchen zone – no induction or oven, but you have a microoven, coffee machine, fridge, toster and kettle, all by hand.
Small and lovely balcony.
Very nice and cozy design of the hotel, which creates relaxing and positive vibe.
Breakfast is good; not large selection of warm food, however, there is basically all one could need. And the top is pastry: I usually do not fall for these things, but this smell of fresh croissants left me no choice – this battle was completely lost 🙂
Many thanks to welcoming and friendly team at the reception. Everyone is kind, smiling and ready to provide some help or share an advice.
There is lovely Italian restaurant opposite the building; and solid Netto supermarket just arond the corner.
Perhaps I wouldn't suggest this place for those travellers who visit Copenhagen for the 1st time and look forward to explore the city center – the location might be little too far from main sighstseeing spots. However, there is connection with public transport, so resolution is available. Bus Nr.27 runs just by the place.
But in case you look for quiet and lovely location with high level of comfort and hospitality, and have plans to take day trips via trains — 100% recommended.Gillian from United Kingdom – 5 April 2025 (9/10)
Great stay at the Adina – we particularly loved the pool and sauna after a day of sightseeing
There’s a Netto next door and a 20 minute walk to the very popular Juno the Bakery.
A small cafetière in the room with complimentary coffee, tea and milk when you arrive.
It’s a short walk from the train station (c10mins) and metro is a bit further. You can stop off on the way to the hotel to see The Little MermaidSau from United Kingdom – 1 April 2025 (9/10)
Amazing hotel. Friendly, clean and breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and professional. Location was very good. Half an hour walk to centre or 7 mins in a car. The swimming pool and sauna was a lovely touch. The changing facilities could be better and it would have been amazing to have a jacuzzi too.
