  I liked unusual room designs, lobby design is great and welcoming, outside veranda for breakfasts with plants is fantastic.
  
  What could be improved: The variety of breakfast options was quite limited.

  Absolutely loved this hotel. We had never been to Denmark before and one of the bonuses was that we travelled by plane then train to centre and the hotel was very near which meant we did not have to walk very far to our hotel.
  
  What could be improved: Only negative was the bathroom did not have a shower room but was a kind of wet room so there was drainage in the floor for excess water from the shower water. There always seemed to be a residue of water on the bathroom floor which made the floor wet and never totally seemed to drain away but that is my only negative comment.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Axel Guldsmeden. The location is perfect, very easy to get around and super close to the train station.
  
  The staff were all lovely and the rooms very clean and spacious.
  
  The breakfast was one of the highlights, a vast array of delicious and organic food, I'd say it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.
  
  What could be improved: If I had to say a few things, it would be that the bathroom got a little bit wet as there was no door to the shower.
  
  We would have also loved a little bit more in terms of a tea and coffee station.
  
  The towels were a little bit scratchy too but none of these things would deter me from staying again as our overall experience was very good.

  The breakfast was good and a reasonable selection was on offer. The room was comfortable and clean. Excellent location within 100mtrs of the main railway station, also very close to Tivoli Gardens. There are plenty of restaurants close-by. The staff were very attentive and helpfull.
  
  What could be improved: The water in the shower was very hard to control, eg one minute it was a good temperature, the next it would either be too hot or too cold. There was not a great flow of water either.

  The only thing that was really annoying was the safe. There were no instructions on how to use it. I was in a rush, had to speak at an event and reception said only way to use it was if room service came up to open it.
  
  When you have a passport, important documents etc you don’t want to leave them easily accessible when you know your room will be open later for cleaning so I had to then carry my documents around all day.
  
  Couldn’t axel just add instructions to use safe in room?

  Very good property in an excellent location. They are focused on eco friendly & sustainability which is refreshing
  Buffet breakfast was good & their restaurant, Cafe du Nord is a lovely place for drinks & dinner particularly after a big day exploring
  
  What could be improved: The lift is a bit clunky & some floor surfaces were irregular. The bathroom needs more hanging places for towels but other from that there really isn’t much to complain about
