Luxury Apartment w Privat Rooftop Terrace – CPH C Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to the third floor of a classic Copenhagen building on Stormgade, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from Luxury Apartment w Privat Rooftop Terrace – CPH C. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, honestly, but once you step inside this four-star apartment, it all makes sense. The space feels more like a well-appointed city pied-à-terre than a typical hotel room — there’s something refreshingly personal about it that immediately puts you at ease. You know what really struck me? The way natural light floods through the windows, giving the whole place this warm, lived-in feeling that’s hard to find in standard hotels.
Location & Neighborhood
Stormgade sits right in the heart of Copenhagen’s action, and I mean that in the best possible way. You’re literally minutes from Strøget (the main pedestrian shopping street) and even closer to some of the city’s best cafes and restaurants that locals actually frequent. I found myself grabbing morning coffee at a little place just around the corner where the barista remembered my order by day three. The location gets high marks from recent guests for good reason — you can walk to Nyhavn’s colorful houses, catch the metro easily, or just wander through the charming cobblestone streets that make Copenhagen so photogenic.
The Space & That Rooftop
The apartment itself is thoughtfully designed with that Scandinavian aesthetic you’d hope for — clean lines, quality materials, nothing too fussy. But honestly, the real star here is that private rooftop terrace mentioned in the name. It’s not huge, but it’s yours alone, and there’s something magical about having your morning coffee or evening wine up there with Copenhagen’s rooftops stretching out around you. I spent way more time up there than I initially planned, especially during those long summer evenings when the light just seems to go on forever. The apartment feels spacious enough for two people without being overwhelming — couples clearly love this place, and I can see why.
Practical Comforts
What I appreciated most was how well-equipped everything is without feeling cluttered. The kitchen has what you actually need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Netto or splurge at Torvehallerne food market (both walkable, by the way). The bed is genuinely comfortable — not just hotel-marketing comfortable — and there’s proper storage space for your things. Little touches like quality linens and a decent shower make the day-to-day experience smooth. The WiFi works reliably, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to navigate a new city or stay connected back home.
Why Guests Love It
This place hits that sweet spot between independence and service that’s perfect for couples wanting their own space in Copenhagen. You get the privacy and character of having your own apartment, complete with that coveted rooftop access, while still getting the reliability and standards of a well-managed accommodation. The location really can’t be beat — you’re in the thick of things but on a quieter street that lets you actually sleep at night. I mean, when recent guests consistently rate both the location and the overall experience highly, there’s usually something real behind those numbers. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Copenhagen rather than just visiting it.

Peter from United Kingdom – 2 March 2025 (9/10)
What could be improved: There are eight flights of stairs, getting steeper as they approach the third floor!
Alison from United Kingdom – 31 August 2024 (8/10)
Location for everything we needed to do
What could be improved: There is a fire station located a couple of streets away and unfortunately you hear the sirens all night.Ernst from Switzerland – 12 August 2024 (8/10)
Spacious, self catering apartment with good beds at convenient downtown location
What could be improved: Modest bathroomSiew from Singapore – 10 August 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: 4th floor without elevatorMirco from Germany – 16 April 2024 (9/10)
Pretty comfy beds, central location in the city,
A lot of things can be walked to or easily accessed by the metro/bus
Service was helpful and you had an answer within an hour or two by text or instantly when calling
The Keys were in a Lockerbox at the Door Entrance so really easy handling of that.
What could be improved: It was kind weird that we couldn't lock any of the doors. But maybe that's a danish thing and we as Germans aren't used to it. 🙂Karen from Australia – 19 February 2024 (9/10)
the property was large and in a great position
Hexenely from Switzerland – 16 February 2024 (8/10)
The location is perfect, you can reach the centre in 5 minutes. Nice, cozy apartment.
What could be improved: Very warm apartment, as the apartment is in the old building the heating system is awful. Too warm, too dry in one part of the flat, too cold, too humid in the second. But it's just a little tiny minus:)Mary from United States – 19 January 2024 (9/10)
Spacious. Very close to everything you needed. Quick 10 min walk to grocery, metro, palace and National Museum is across the street.
What could be improved: Coming from America, I didn't realize the 3rd floor actually means the 4th level as we count the ground floor as 1. So you get a daily work out at this walk up.Victoria from New Zealand – 16 November 2023 (8/10)
Spacious and clean
What could be improved: Needs a few more basic amenities like washing powderMoira from United Kingdom – 13 July 2023 (9/10)
The location was excellent, with many places of interest in walking distance and an easy journey from the airport.
The terrace was a nice tranquil spot for breakfast and to chill out at the end of the day.😊
What could be improved: Traffic a little noisy at night in bedrooms at front of apartment if windows open but not a big problem.
