Honestly, the location is probably the hotel’s biggest win. Vesterbro has become one of those neighborhoods that locals love but isn’t completely overrun with tourists yet — though that’s changing fast. You’re walking distance from the trendy galleries and cafes that have popped up in the old meat district, but you can also easily get to Tivoli Gardens or the city center. I mean, couples are rating the location 8.9 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get it. There’s something about being in a real neighborhood rather than just another tourist bubble. Room Experience

The room I stayed in had that clean, minimalist Scandinavian design you’d expect, but with enough personality to avoid feeling sterile. Large windows let in plenty of natural light — which you really appreciate during those shorter winter days. The beds are seriously comfortable (Scandic seems to have figured out the mattress game), and there’s actually enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. Small detail that matters: the shower pressure is excellent, which isn’t always a given in European hotels. The attention to these practical details makes a real difference in your stay.

Breakfast and Dining

The breakfast setup here is honestly impressive — they’ve got continental options, but also vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. It’s buffet-style, which normally makes me a bit skeptical, but the quality is solid and they keep everything fresh. The restaurant area has this nice buzz in the morning without being chaotic. I appreciated that they seem to actually understand dietary restrictions rather than just paying lip service to them. The culinary team demonstrates genuine commitment to accommodating diverse preferences.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets this place apart is how it balances being part of Copenhagen’s creative scene without the pretension that sometimes comes with that. The parking situation is sorted if you’re driving — which is actually a big deal in this city where finding a spot can be a nightmare.   The bar, the building is really cool. You only have to walk for a minute for great restaurants and bars. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was amazing – loads of choice of bread, cheese, meats, hot things and overnight oats etc. Loved it!
